About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Compassionate Animal Learning was created in 2023 with the mission to provide quality training for animals everywhere. After the loss of our pitty, we found a mission and purpose through grief; to shape learning into a fun, effective, compassionate experience for all involved. Through compassionate training we aim to help caregivers forge and strengthen bonds with their animals while reducing recidivism rates to shelters for behavioral concerns. We continue our mission today, providing education, training, and research development all with the purpose to make the world a better place for the animals within it.

Our approach
We are strongly rooted in the science of Behavior Analysis. We focus on utilizing scientific, empirically supported techniques to ensure the highest quality care. As such, it is our goal and our mission to approach learning from a compassionate perspective for both you and your pet. We will never utilize techniques that cause harm including those that use pain, or fear including techniques that focus on intimidating them into behaviors we are requesting. Our belief is if we wouldn’t use it with a human, we shouldn’t use it with an animal and if you wouldn’t want to learn that way, they don’t either. We will instead focus on positive reinforcement and fear free training techniques to make learning exciting, engaging and compassionate for all involved!
